Site is back again, I wonn't explain why. The navigation on the left hand doesn't work anymore, I don't know why, seems to be blocked by some ad ruling of fFF2.

26.12.01
#0 - All my residual webspace for pictures will be gone after the 31.12.01, however I've established a Webserver on my own box. You can temporarily check on the contact page the link for "Yes, our dog has his own site" ,which is dynamically changing the IP-Address every 12 hours.
The speed is at maximum 64Kbit, while my ADSL connection isn't finally cleared yet. I'm still dealing with different offers for 256k upload speed.
19.10.01
#0 - I've lost most of my webspace for pictures. I'll get ADSL end of January 2002 and will set up my own server for this purpose. It will have only 128kbit access speed, but better than nothing:-)

11.10.01
#0 removed some broken links

09.10.01
Really long time since any update here. I promise to do more in the next time.
#1 ECCP statistics - distributed computing stuff
15.04.01
So this is the final version now. I changed the color scheme to web-safe colours.
Some minor mishaps in Opera5.10 still reside, dealing with the disply of grafical icons at mouse events.
Though Opera claimes to be the fastest browser on earth, my old NS3.01 is still way faster, however it's not that stable with all this faulty codes from IE-oriented publishers.
The dynamic menu at the left is loaded in NS3 at least 5 times faster than in Opera:-)
#0 - allover some typo's and editorial mishaps removed
#1 - WEB/Forums - some rearrangements and links corrected
#2 - WEB/Cuecards - implemented the change of DHTML strategy
#3 - WEB/Pics in UBB - resorted to common description
#4 - Progs/Favourites - some links removed

11.04.01
Finally the existing version is now working under Opera 5.10
So the AnyBrowser button at the right hand is revalidated:-)
If you don't use Javascript or Frames, you wouldn't see this, but get some principle Navigation support using two browser windows.
Credit to the new structure goes to Joust Outliner Version 2.5.4
18.03.01
Another new version, dang fast in NS3, but still sluggish in Opera
20.02.01
Now this is the recompiled version of the site, at least in an preliminary working mode.

11.02.01
#0 I'm a bit busy recently in my real life, so updates come in greater gaps.
Unfortunately a whole redesign of my site will be due. I found that the DHTML I'm using doesn't work in Opera at all.
I've switched over to Opera5.02 and will redesign the javascript to comply with Opera 3.2 and higher. Some navigation features might be a bit different than before, however the allover design should stay the same. Maybe the processing of the scripts will be a bit slower within NS/IE4.x versions. I will not check for NS6 compatibility yet.

15.12.00
#0 This site is now 1 year up and I'm a little bit proud of it. The look and feel stuck almost the same since than.
I'd over 15000 hits in this year, which is astonishing to me, as I never did some promotion, rather than giving my link in forums.
About 20% of all visitors read more than one article, probably I'm a bit to techy in my articles, however most of the stuff isn't intended for newbies anyway ;-)
This site cost me about 4$/month and will stay of course adsfree.
Thanks to all visitors and people which explicitily mailed me concerning any questions or just drop in some kind words.
Scroll down this page to the bottom and see the beginning of all this stuff :-)
For that I was recently very busy in my real life, this update lasted a bit. Hope I'll do better now.

I hope you all haven't given up in the meantime to check back.
Check here for problems :D
09.04.00
I appologize for the inconvenience while my Server was again moved :(
Unfortunately this cool URL has been changed reflecting the www prefix now to HTTP://WWW.webwi.de
I can't give an explanation why this is needed, you need to adjust your bookmarks accordingly. All this made me very busy in correcting the complete structure of my different spreaded sites, for this I've no actual new tips and tricks this week. I hope The webhosting puzzle is finished now and I've setted up now direct E-Mail support via this site, click on Contact.

#0 - General announcement - I'll come up within the next days with a good number of hoaxes in system tweaking, which I must admit I've recommended myself without proper proof. The pitty with good clues is, if they do not harm your system you may get the impression they did some good for it. My next issues will concentrate on those ridiculous operations.
With the next upcoming version I need to split the Tips section into separate folders, as they become to large for appropriate download speed on smaller modem. If you have bookmarked them directly, you'll be forwarded to the new setup than.
